Founded in 2011 from the merger of two major schools in Taichung, namely Taichung Institute of Technology, established in 1919, and National Taichung Nursing College, established in 1955, the National Taichung University of Science and Technology (NTCUST) is now in a new phase of development. The university focuses on advanced research programs and develops links with universities both domestically and internationally in terms of technology.
