Requirements for Participating in Vocational Study in Australia

In vocational study programs in Australia, international students do not need to provide complex financial proof as required for university or college studies. Therefore, the visa application process for vocational study is much simpler compared to other study programs in Australia.

Graduates of vocational programs who have combined study and work experience can apply to transfer to university if desired, with relatively short study durations depending on the field.

Entry Requirements for Courses:

 

- The course should last at least 2 years (to facilitate visa approval).

- For Year 11: Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma.

- For Year 12: Certificate IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma.

- Minimum English proficiency: IELTS 6.0, PTE 46, TOEFL 530-550, or equivalent English certification.

- Proof of financial capability (AUD 22,000 per year plus tuition fees).

- A convincing statement of purpose (SOP) – See reference file.

- Completion of Year 11 or 12 with at least average academic performance.

- Some courses may require work experience or specific subjects to be completed prior to entry.

- For courses in design or fine arts, a portfolio may be required by some institutions.
